Senior Outreach Worker

Salary: Grade 8 £34,834 to £39,196 per year
Location: Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

The Vacancy

Are you able to lead and co-ordinate a team of outreach workers out of office hours, who work with and engage vulnerable young people in the community, those who require support and intervention. Are you passionate about working with young people and want to make a local difference by helping children, young people, and families? Are you great at talking to people and engaging them in activities and conversations?

 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Senior Outreach Youth Worker to join our team. This exciting role will require you to co-ordinate a team of Outreach workers who have an active presence in specific areas of the community, encouraging activities and interventions to promote positive interaction, improve resilience, reduce anti-social behaviour and reduce the need for statutory intervention.

As Senior Outreach Youth Worker, you will have responsibility for 9 outreach workers who are working directly in the community. This is a rewarding role that requires passion, creativity, and well as the ability lead a team and work with partner agencies.
