Salary: Grade 6 £27,334 to £30,296 per year
Location: Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

About the Team
 
Based at Church Square House, the team provides Adult Social Care support promoting independence, and focuses on early help and prevention, supporting people with wide ranging needs, providing a variety of early help solutions, daily living equipment, minor adaptations, specialist equipment and supporting people with complex home adaptations via Disabled Facilities Grants.
 
Our aim is to ensure that people can remain at home and feel confident and safe to live as independently as possible for as long as possible with the right support at the right time.

About the role
 
Being an Occupational Therapist Assistant in our Occupational Therapy Team, in line with the council’s Community First approach and ambition will equip you with a range of skills. This role will enable you to work autonomously and undertake a supporting role under supervision in frontline holistic occupational therapy practice within a social care setting.
 
This position requires a highly motivated, dynamic, caring individual who is creative, forward thinking, and capable of enabling people to identify with their own care and support needs. Knowledge of Smart Technology will be of great benefit and excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this public facing role.
