Family Intervention Worker (1 full time, 1 part time)

Salary: Grade 6: 37 hours - £27,334 to £30,296 per year, 18.5 hours £13,667 to £15,148 per year
Location: Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week, 18 hours 30 minutes per week

We are seeking creative, dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team of Family Workers. Working as part of a highly skilled and supportive team the post holders will play a significant role in the delivery of targeted family help and support to children and families across North Lincolnshire.

 

The successful candidates will be passionate about working with vulnerable children, young people and their families and will demonstrate excellent skills in building effective relationships and working with children and families in ways that are enabling, motivational, flexible and creative.

 

Working to the principles of the North Lincolnshire ‘One Family Approach’ the core purpose of the work is to help children remain with their families, in their communities and in their schools. With a focus on working with the whole family, enabling and empowering people to make positive changes in their lives in order to increase their resilience and achieve successful outcomes.

 

We are seeking to employ individuals who are experienced in working with children, young people and their families, who have experience of multi-agency working and are committed to ensuring that the work undertaken is underpinned by the voice and experience of the children, young people and families.

 

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills are essential and experience of using electronic case recording systems would be beneficial, although full training will be given in this area.
