37hrs per week (8:30am – 4:00pm, Mon-Thu, 8:30-3:30 Fri)
Salary scale 5-9 (Grade 4)
£23,500 - £25,119 (£19,917 - £21,290 pro rata)

We are now seeking a dedicated Finance and Administration Assistant to join our team and contribute to the smooth running of our school operations.
As a Finance and Administration Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient financial management and administrative support of the school. You will work closely with the Finance & Administration Supervisor and administrative team to maintain accurate financial records, assist in budgeting processes, and support the wide ranging school administrative tasks including organisation of school trips.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Prepare financial reports and statements for review by the Headteacher.
Assist with the administration of school trips, events and activities.
Maintain office supplies & school shop and manage inventory.
Provide general administrative support including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and greeting visitors.
Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
Proven experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably within an educational setting is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
You should have an understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
Excellent IT skills including ideally experience of accounting software and Google Suite / Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
