Job title: Class Teacher 0.2FTE (Working days = 2 afternoons to be agreed, ideally Wednesday and Friday.)

Class Teacher
Required for September 2024, the Headteacher and the Governing Body wish to appoint an ambitious teacher who is committed, enthusiastic, imaginative and can demonstrate excellent teaching and learning across the primary phase. Due to our rural setting the teaching post will include teaching and planning for a mixed classes.

We are a successful, small, rural school and we are looking for someone to join our welcoming school community.

We are looking for someone who:
- Appreciates the challenges of working within a small school environment.
- Has high expectations and is able to inspire and motivate pupils and colleagues, resulting in high quality learning and progress for all.
- Is able to plan exciting and challenging lessons and interventions (as appropriate) that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN, in a mixed-age class.
- Has good communication skills and is able to work well with colleagues, parents and outside agencies to support teaching and learning for all pupils, including those with SEN.
- Has a good understanding of the Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Can continue to develop the school’s drive towards excellence, promoting high expectations and outcomes for all.
- Has excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
- An innate ability to demonstrate a caring and nurturing attitude.
