The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Officer Strategic Commissioning to lead our commissioning activities. You will join and lead our busy energetic team committed to designing and commissioning services which improve outcomes for children, young people, vulnerable adults, families and Carers across North Lincolnshire.
You will be a strategic thinker and have extensive knowledge and practical experience of the full commissioning cycle. You will take responsibility for planning, overseeing and ensuring the delivery of a range of commissioning projects and for providing commissioning expertise and guidance for colleagues and partners alike.
You will have sound knowledge of procurement and contract rules, contract compliance and monitoring, outcome-based commissioning and project management; alongside strong analysis, communication and engagement skills.
You will have experience of working within a health or social care environment and have the ability to work with, lead and influence a range of people including children, young people, vulnerable adults, families and Carers, service providers and partner agencies.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our services are innovative, meet both the present and future needs of our communities and deliver value for money. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of service delivery, achieve outcomes for our population and make a positive impact.
