The Vacancy
The Headteacher and the Governing Body wish to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant.
We are a successful, small, rural school and we are looking for someone to join our welcoming school community.
We are looking for someone who:
- Appreciates the challenges of working within a small school environment and recognises that no two days are the same.
-Has the ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- Is calm and collected during stressful moments
- Has a flexible and creative approach to managing workload
- Has experience of working in a busy office where you can be frequently interrupted.
- Has a good understanding of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Can continue to develop the school’s drive towards excellence, promoting high expectations and outcomes for all.
- Has excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Has a caring and understanding attitude when dealing with children and adults alike.

Working hours/days:
Monday - 1pm - 3:45pm = 2 hours 45 minutes
Tuesday - 8:30am - 3:45pm = 6 hours 30 minutes (45 minutes lunch)
Wednesday - 9:30am - 3:45pm = 6 hours 30 minutes (45 minutes lunch)
Thursday 1pm - 3:45pm - 2 hours 45 minutes
Closing Date: 9th December, 12 noon
Interview Date: Tuesday 17th December
Start Date: as soon as possible or 6th January 2025
