The Vacancy
The Headteacher and governors of Lincoln Gardens Primary School wish to appoint a qualified teacher to join our team. The role will start on or around 28th April 2025 for approximately one year or until the maternity leave ceases
The successful candidate will be keen to promote a vibrant and engaging learning environment where pupils are motivated to achieve of their best. You will join in our continuing commitment to good and outstanding teaching. It is also important that you understand the need for effective planning, marking and feedback to ensure we meet the needs of all our children.
Lincoln Gardens is recognised by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school.

Allocation of a specific year group will be dependent upon the successful applicant’s strengths and experience to date. The current vacancy is in year 1.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and all staff and volunteers must share this commitment. A Disclosure Barring Service (Enhanced DBS) check will be carried out for successful applicants for posts that involve contact with children and/or vulnerable adults and are considered to be ‘exempt’ under the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, therefore it is an offence for anyone barred from working with children to apply for this post.
