Tourism Partnership Officer

Salary: Grade 6 £8,123 to £8,963 per year
Location Chuch Square House, Scunthorpe

The Vacancy

The role is a part time role that supports the provision of a Tourism Partnership with the aim to enhance the visitor experience and maximise visitor numbers in North Lincolnshire.  To help deliver initiatives from local and regional tourism strategies and research funding opportunities that will help grow our visitor economy. 

The role is 10 hours 30 minutes per week and days are negotiable for the right applicant.  The role is based at Church Square House in Scunthorpe, however there will be a need to travel to meetings, attractions and accommodation providers throughout North Lincolnshire and the wider Greater Lincolnshire as and when required. 

The post is varied from providing information and advice to tourism businesses, updating social media, attending events and meetings and helping businesses through the Quality Assessment process that we run. The role also includes computer work, so you must be confident in the use of Microsoft Office and able to use social media.
