The Vacancy
Full Time Required for the start of the summer term 2025 (22-04-2025)
Temporary Maternity leave cover for up to 1 year or until the substantive post holder returns.
Governors, staff and children would like to appoint an outstanding practitioner to teach in our small and friendly infant school to cover a teacher’s maternity leave.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who is:
• Motivated and enthusiastic with high expectations in all that they do. • Reflective, proactive and innovative. • Able to actively work as part of a team. • Able to inspire and motivate young learners. • Able to bring new ideas and experiences to our team. • Have a good knowledge of phonics • Working knowledge of EYFS • Have a high standard of written and spoken English • Have good behaviour management skills and high expectations of behaviour • Have a sense of humour • Be prepared to “have a go” and learn new things • Have an optimistic outlook • Be creative, planning exciting and challenging lessons • Have good communication skills to work effectively
