Are you an experienced education professional with a strong grasp of school improvement work?

A rare opportunity has arisen to work within a highly rated local authority School Improvement team as a Lead Officer for School Improvement.  Working alongside other highly skilled and experienced colleagues, your role would be to support and challenge schools across North Lincolnshire to ensure that outcomes for all our children are high. You would oversee the performance of a designated group of schools, ensure effective challenge and support and assure the quality and impact of Peer Leader support.

Our officers work with leaders from every school in their remit, regardless of governance, to support them with school improvement. This could include working alongside a Peer Leader assuring the quality and impact of sector-led support. You would also be leading on or contributing to reviews or providing targeted support to some schools, based on joint assessment of the school’s needs. In addition to the above you would support our QA and assurance processes through contribution of reports and attendance at key meetings.

Please see attached job description and employee specification which you should refer to when completing your application to demonstrate you meet the essential criteria for the role.

If you would like to discuss the role before making an application, please contact Paul Tinsley, AD for Education, at paul.tinsley@northlincs.gov.uk

As an employer, we promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect the same commitment from existing and prospective employees or volunteers. Recruitment to this post will follow our safer recruitment procedure which includes us requesting references prior to interview and a DBS check.
