Teaching Assistant level 2

Salary: Grade 4 £10,062 to £10,719 per year
Location St Peter and St Pauls CE Primary School, Scunthorpe
Hours: 18 hours per week term time only
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

St Peter and St Paul Church of England Primary School is at the heart of the local community. 

For September, we are seeking to appoint a member of support staff who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to reaching the highest standards of achievement underpinned by our strong Christian ethos. 

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team as soon as possible.

Please note that over time you will be expected to work with all age ranges. 

You will be:

• Supporting groups or individuals under the guidance of the teacher 

• Supervising children and leading play at playtimes and lunchtimes, as part of your role

• Given support and guidance in welfare and learning

• Flexible and open to change; the specific duties of the post may change as the school develops 

• Involved in general administration work

• Experienced in positive behaviour management techniques

• Experienced at working with children with special educational needs

• Able to manage all situations with positivity, calmness and unfailing love!
