We have an exciting opportunity to join an amazing team of professionals who all strive to provide the best experiences in learning and life for our children. As such, we are seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative KS2 teacher who is highly ambitious for themselves and our children.  This post would suit someone who is in the early stages of their teaching career as we can offer a strong package of support coupled with small class sizes. The post is initially for one year with the potential to become a permanent post.

We strive to ensure our children fulfil their potential with their personal development along with their academic progress through encouraging and considering a holistic approach to child development. We know our children love coming to school because of the wide range of visits, sporting, drama and music opportunities that they have access to during their time at Hibaldstow Academy.  We are also proud to be an OPAL school, recently receiving their Gold status, which affirms our commitment to engaging play and imagination for all ages of pupils.

The successful candidate will:

  • be an inspiring teacher who is committed to motivating learners
  • have high expectations of children and high standards of classroom practice
  • have a belief that all children are capable of great things and learning should be fun
  • have strong interpersonal skills and value working as a team
  • promote and follow effective safeguarding policy and practice

We can offer you:

  • A school where the children’s personal growth and opportunity is as important as curricular development;
  • Enthusiastic, inquisitive children;
  • An extremely effective, supportive, friendly and talented staff team;
  • A well-resourced learning environment;
  • A bespoke CPD programme;
  • A progressive and modern IT system, that enables independent learning and excellent collaboration opportunities for staff and pupils both at home and in school;

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged, please contact the school office to arrange a mutually suitable appointment. 01652 654369 or office@hibaldstow.org.uk

As an employer, we promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect the same commitment from existing and prospective employees or volunteers. Recruitment to this post will follow our safer recruitment procedure which includes us requesting references prior to interview and a DBS check.
