Location Belton All Saints CE Primary School, Belton
Hours: 32 hours and 30 minutes per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a one-year fixed-term opportunity with the exciting potential to become a permanent position, based on performance and school needs.

About the Role 

We are looking for an inspirational, ambitious teacher with a proven track record of raising standards who can contribute to excellence in teaching, learning, and the EYFS curriculum. 

As our EYFS teacher, you will play a central role in shaping our youngest learners’ early experiences of school life. You’ll have the freedom to be creative, the support to grow, and the opportunity to make a real difference.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

As our EYFS teacher, you will play a vital role in laying the foundations for a lifelong love of learning. Your core responsibilities will include: 

  • Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child. 
  • Planning and delivering rich, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework and responsive to each child’s individual needs and interests. 
  • Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s progress to ensure they are supported, challenged, and celebrated as they reach their full potential. 
  • Building strong, positive relationships with families, carers, and external agencies to promote each child’s learning, wellbeing, and safety. 
  • Actively contributing to a collaborative and supportive staff culture, engaging in whole-school initiatives, events, and continuous professional development. 
  • Embodying and promoting the Christian values and ethos of our school, while placing safeguarding at the core of your everyday practice. 
  • Leading a subject or curriculum area across the school, sharing your passion and expertise to support high-quality teaching and learning throughout the wider team. 

 

Who We’re Looking For 

We’re looking for someone who: 

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS), with experience in EYFS 
  • Is an outstanding teacher with a focus on achieving excellent pupil attainment 
  • Has a deep understanding of child development and the EYFS framework. 
  • Brings energy, creativity, and passion to the classroom. 
  • Has a thorough understanding and a strong working knowledge of safeguarding procedures. 
  • Is warm, approachable, and a natural communicator who builds strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues 
  • Believes every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and inspired 
  • Is a reflective practitioner, always looking to learn and improve 
  • Will embrace and contribute to the caring, inclusive Christian ethos of our school.
