Teaching Assistant (Level 2) (SEMH)

Salary: Grade 4 £18,647 to £19,864 per year
Location Sir John Nelthorpe, Brigg
Hours: 32 hours 30 minutes per week term time plus 5 days
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

A vacancy has been identified for a caring and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in the ASPIRE centre supporting the ASPIRE Centre Managers and Learning Mentor (SEMH) supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic and personal goals.

The role will be working with and supporting a number of pupils ASD and more complex social, emotional and behaviour needs.

You will experience small group work and working with individuals on a one to one basis.

We are seeking a friendly and caring person who is able to establish positive working relationships with children and adults.

ASPIRE is a specialist provision unit within Sir John Nelthorpe School, dedicated to supporting secondary-aged pupils with ASD.

We provide a tailored environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
