Salary: Assistant Youth Worker Level 1 - £3,349 to £3,393 per year
Location Kirton Youth Club, Kirton Lindsey
Hours: 5 hours per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

Assistant Youth Worker 

Are you passionate about working with young people and wanting to pursue a career in youth work?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Youth Worker to join our team. As a Assistant Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in your community. This is a rewarding role that requires passion, creativity, and the ability to connect with young individuals. All youth centres plan using the Youth Curriculum which gives young people an opportunity to experience a wide range of activities.

Whilst helping shape the lives of young people, you could also shape your own career gaining vital experience and skills.

We are looking for a person who: -

  • Is energetic, inspiring and an excellent role model
  • Has skills or interests in art, music / DJing, cookery or sport
  • Can talk with young people in an open and honest manner
  • Can follow instructions and work under the direction of a Project Youth Worker
  • Wants to make a local difference by helping children, young people and families?
  • Is great at talking to people and engaging them in activities and conversations?

This post is 5 hours per week, 2.5 hours deliver on a Monday and Tuesday evening.
