Teacher - Maternity Cover

Salary: M1 - M6 £32,916 to £45,352 per year
Location Barton St Peter's CE Primary School, Barton upon Humber
Hours: 32 hours and 30 minutes per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed Key Stage 1 teacher to join our nurturing church school on a maternity cover basis.

About the role

You will:

Teach a Key Stage 1 class, providing high-quality, engaging learning experiences

Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

Support pupils’ academic, social and spiritual development

Work closely with a supportive staff team, parents and the wider school community

 

We are looking for someone who:

Is an effective and reflective classroom practitioner (ECTs are welcome to apply)

Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum including phonics ( Read Write Inc )

Demonstrates a nurturing approach and high expectations for all pupils

Is committed to the values and ethos of a church school

Is enthusiastic, organised and able to inspire young learners
