The Vacancy
We are looking to appoint a permanent full time Early Years Teacher starting in the Summer Term 2026. Are you a passionate and creative Early Years Teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Early Years/Reception.
• A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A caring, patient nature and a strong commitment to safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Create a fun, safe, and inspiring learning environment.
• Support children’s development across the Early Years curriculum.
• Observe, assess, and record pupil progress.
• Work closely with staff, parents, and other professionals.
• Encourage positive behaviour and foster curiosity, confidence, and independence.
• Plan and implement learning activities that build solid foundations across all areas of learning, preparing children well for Key Stage 1.
• Engage children through curiosity-driven, kind, and teamwork-oriented approaches aligned with the school’s vision and values.
• Work with leadership to ensure consistency in teaching and learning quality across the early years setting.
• Support efforts to improve pupil attendance by fostering a welcoming and engaging learning environment.
