Humanities Teacher

Salary: M1 - UPS 3 £32,916 to £51,048 per year
Location Frederick Gough School, Scunthorpe
Hours: 32 hours and 30 minutes per week term time only plus 5 training days
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

We are looking to appoint a specialist Humanities teacher with a focus on History & RE.

The successful candidate will be, or if an ECT, have the ability to become, an inspirational classroom practitioner and there is a comprehensive induction programme in place to support new staff.  


This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students across subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, and related disciplines.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to curriculum development, and foster a love of learning within the Humanities.

All teachers have their own classrooms, with laptop and projector.
