Salary: Grade 2, £5,505 per year
Location St Hugh's School, Scunthorpe
Hours: 10 hours per week term time only
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Hours of Work: 10 hours per week (Term Time)

6:30am to 8:30am or 16:00 to 18:00 - Term time only (May be some summer working as and when required)

Description:

A Cleaner is required to join our team as soon as possible, working under the direction of the Site Manager.

St Hugh’s School is a well-resourced, purpose-built school for students aged 11–16 years with moderate, severe, or profound and multiple learning needs. Many of our students also have additional needs, including ASD and complex medical needs. 

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and reliable team player to support the premises team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Training in the use of cleaning equipment and materials will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across school buildings

• Carry out routine and specialist cleaning tasks, including floors, carpets, toilets, and windows

• Support periodic deep cleaning, including moving furniture

• Use and store cleaning equipment safely

• Report faults, damage, or vandalism and secure the premises
