The Vacancy
Are you passionate about Customer Service and looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Receptionist to join our award winning team at Sir John Mason House in Winterton North Lincolnshire Home First short stay is a registered Rehabilitation and Reablement service that provides time limited intervention and therapies to people within a 30 bed rehabilitation setting.
We strive to deliver support that puts people at the centre of our services. Our aim is to ensure that a person can return home/appropriate place, feel confident and is safe to live as independently as possible. As a Receptionist you will be part of a fast paced and developing service that has opportunities for further development and progression.
You will be required to undertake reception and clerical duties. Dealing with enquiries on a day to day basis you will have excellent communication and telephone skills and be able to multi–task under pressure. Being the first point of contact you will be enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable on our service.
You will gain experience of cash handling and dealing with members of the public.
You will be working for an employer who cares about your health and wellbeing and will receive high levels of training and excellent supervisory and peer support.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
• Good standard of English and Maths
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good time management
• Basic IT skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Team working
• Commitment to complete an Apprenticeship
• Ability to attend training.
You will gain a Level 3 Customer Service Qualification.
Please note if you already hold this qualification or the equivalent your application will not be progressed.
To meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard any applicant aged 16 to 18 who does not hold a level 2 Maths and/or English qualification will be required to complete this alongside their apprenticeship.
