Transport Technical Assistant

Salary: Grade 4 - £25,583 to £27,254 per year
Location Operational Transport Plot 21 Midland Road, Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual with proven excellent administrative, IT and organisational skills. The Transport Technical Assistant will support the Senior Chargehand and Chargehands in Providing high quality administrative and operational support within the Transport Operations team The post holder will assist with the transport arrangements between home and school, keeping records up to date, dealing with complaints and covering routes as and when required. The postholder must be able to work as part of a team but also be able to prioritise their own workload and work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines. They must be able to communicate both orally and in writing with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality. The postholder must hold a category B driving licence.
