The Vacancy
It’s an exciting time to be part of Technology & Communications within the Business Technology Team. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Business Development Officer to support the delivery of sustainable business and technology solutions that enable digital progression, service improvement, and organisational transformation.

As a Business Development Officer, you will:
• Support the development, operation and continuous improvement of business technology solutions and processes across the council and partner organisations.
• Review, understand and interpret business processes, producing clear process maps to identify improvements, efficiencies and opportunities for technology-enabled change.
• Support and deliver digital progression, transformation and business technology process change across services.
• Contribute to projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning through delivery, monitoring and closure, applying sound project management principles.
• Support the development of secure and resilient business solutions, including appropriate business continuity and flexible working arrangements.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, partners and suppliers to deliver effective and value-for-money technology solutions.
