The Vacancy
We are currently seeking to fill some apprentice positions in our team due to several retirements and a desire to strengthen and improve the resilience of the Fleet Services Group.
During your apprenticeship you will train on the most diverse range of vehicles within the area, working alongside a qualified Technician you will spend 4 days in the fleet workshop with a day’s release at North Lindsey College.
This is a three-year apprenticeship and upon successful completion you will be qualified to a City and Guilds Heavy Vehicle Technician Level 3. We are looking to train apprentices to become Technicians who are not only qualified and competent but enthusiastic, delivering the highest quality service.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
• You must hold English and Maths GCSE A-C or 4+ or working towards
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good time management
• Basic IT skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Team working
• Commitment to complete an Apprenticeship
• Ability to attend training.
You will gain a City and Guilds Heavy Vehicle Technician Level 3 Qualification.
