We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS teacher to lead our mixed Nursery and Reception class. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small, friendly village school where relationships, creativity and early learning are at the heart of everything we do.

You will shape high-quality early years provision, create a language-rich environment and ensure our youngest learners get the very best start to their school journey. Our EYFS team is well-established, supportive and committed to child-centred practice.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A teacher with a strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework
  • Someone who creates warm, purposeful learning environments indoors and outdoors
  • A practitioner skilled in continuous provision, early phonics and early maths
  • A teacher who values play-based learning, curiosity and independence
  • Someone who builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • A reflective, proactive team member who contributes to the wider life of the school

What We Offer:

  • A caring, community-focused school with small class sizes
  • A supportive EYFS team and strong leadership across the federation
  • Opportunities for professional development and collaboration
  • A nurturing environment where staff and children are known, valued and supported

We are hoping that you will be able to start in September, but if you need longer to give notice, we are able to be flexible.

If you would like any further information, please email headteacher@riversidefederation.co.uk

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

As an employer, we promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect the same commitment from existing and prospective employees or volunteers.
