Teaching Assistant Level 2

Salary: Grade 4 £19,368 to £20,633 per year
Location: Holme Valley Primary School, Scunthorpe
Hours: 32 hours and 30 minutes per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a caring, committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Pastoral Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral colleagues and families to provide targeted support that promotes pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of supporting children or young people within a classroom TA or pastoral role
  • Is calm, empathetic and able to build strong professional relationships.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Can adapt their approach to meet a wide range of individual needs
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Believes in inclusion and has high aspirations for every pupil.
